Before working with Amara, I had built my brand myself. It got the business started, but it wasn’t matching the calibre of what I was actually delivering. What surprised me was how strategic the process was. Amara helped me get clear on who my ideal client is and how to communicate that visually. The brief felt like a business conversation as much as a creative one. The result is a brand I’m confident putting in front of couples planning premium weddings and the enquiries I’m getting now feel far more aligned. The team were extremely responsive, patient and supportive throughout the whole process. Highly recommend.

The Brief
Wedding Dance Diva is a Brisbane-based studio offering personalised wedding dance lessons for couples preparing their first dance. The experience is warm, supportive and highly tailored, guiding beginners into confident, relaxed dancers for one of the most watched moments of their wedding day.
Kylie built the business from the ground up, including the original logo and website. While it initially gave the brand personality and presence, growth revealed a gap between the studio’s professionalism and its visual identity, with inconsistencies limiting its impact.
Referred by another wedding industry client, Beautiful Weddings and Events, Kylie approached Amara Collective seeking a cohesive, elevated brand and website that better reflects her service, attracts aligned couples, and supports her confidence in positioning the business at a premium level.

The Challenge
The brief was not to create a completely new brand, but to refine and elevate what already existed. Kylie was particularly attached to the crown motif in the original logo, making it important to retain the brand's personality while creating a more cohesive and premium identity.
The wedding industry is crowded with familiar visual tropes, from florals and scripts to soft colour palettes and romantic iconography. The challenge was to create a brand that felt distinctive and elevated without losing its connection to the category.
The business also offered a range of services, including couples' first dances, parent dances, and hens' experiences. The identity needed to be flexible enough to support this growth while maintaining clarity and consistency across the brand.
